Curriculum Out Line

• Curriculum has integrated teaching learning activities and encourages problem-based learning.
• Curriculum is divided into three phases namely the first phase, second phase and third phase.
• The First phase is of two year duration and teaching is organized in following subjects:
  

  First year-	Community medicine and integrated basic medical science.
  Second year-	Integrated basic medical science which includes Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry Pathology, Pharmacology and Microbiology continued.

• Second phase is of one year and teaching includes as follows:

Forensic medicine, Applied epidemiology, Family Health, Internal medicine, Surgery, Gynecology & Obstetrics and pediatrics.

• Third phase is of one and half year duration and includes teaching of Eye, ENT, Orthopedic, Dentistry, Psychiatry, Dermatology, Anesthesiology, Accident and Emergency Medicine.
