Janaki Medical College is being developed and promoted by private sector in Janakpurdham, Nepal as an institution to provide undergraduate medical training programme (MBBS) for 100 students intake per year.

The national health policy of His Majesty's Government assures to encourage private sector to establish health institutions for development of extended health care services in Nepal under prescribed policy of HMG. This institution will be able to offer opportunities for national and international students to study MBBS courses and fulfill the manpower requirements of the nation.

Ram Janaki Health Foundation Pvt. Ltd. is an organization located in Janakpurdham, Nepal and is involved in development of Janaki Medical College. Members of the foundation are devoted people in social services and the foundation is chaired by Dr. Ram Nandan Sinha, Retd. Director General of Department of Health Services, His Majesty's Government of Nepal.
